absolutely shocked by the lack of black-out blinds, this is a bed and breakfast, not a lion's den. and the unadvertised stairs? they nearly took me out. expected a complimentary treat for such inconveniences but got nada. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

How it stacks up, my honest take
This charming place is perfectly situated just minutes from the beach, with ample parking nearby. The apartment features a cozy living room and kitchen, alongside a lovely en-suite double bedroom. Breakfast was a delight, offering a mix of hot options and fresh fruits. Overall, an inviting experience I can't wait to revisit!

We loved the delicious chocolate brownies on arrival. The room and bathroom were spotless. We had bottled water available. Breakfast was a treat, with both continental and Ulster fry options. The owner’s dad served us, bringing a nice personal touch to our stay. I'll definitely come back!

missingWrote a review on Sept 08charming atmospheredelicious breakfaststreet noiselimited activitiesdecor issues
The charming atmosphere truly captured the essence of the area, complemented by the delicious high-quality breakfast, which featured both local favorites and continental options. Tea and coffee stations readily available on each floor added convenience, but the noise from the busy street was a bit disruptive. The charming decor enhanced the experience, though the limited activities in the town meant the guesthouse served more as a home base for exploring nearby attractions.

great location but slight room issues
The B&B is ideally situated for exploring attractions along the coast. The service was exceptional, with staff making us feel warmly welcomed during check-in. Our triple room was very clean and well-maintained. I also enjoyed the charming city view from our window, adding a nice touch to our experience.

my stay at the village bed and breakfast was exceptional! The location is perfect, just minutes from the beach, and the breakfast options were fantastic. the ulster fry really hit the spot. overall, this place exceeded my expectations during my city break in cushendall!
some blackout blinds would help greatly.

But I must say, the bathroom floor seemed to have gone through a wrestling match—bit drafty, honestly! The noise from the traffic kept me guessing if I was in a pub or a bed and breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming B & B, which was perfect for our family. The location was ideal, with a lovely walk between the village and the beach, complete with a modern play area for the kids. Breakfast was delightful too!
My kids wished for a bit more play equipment outside.
